I swear I did bring some toys with us to MN, but these two "toys" seemed to be their favorite. They played with them for literally hours. I am so glad that we got two little boys so close together. They are the best of friends. They play and laugh together ALL day long. I hardly even interact with them anymore, they just run around keeping themselves so busy. It is so fun to watch them. I am so thankful I got the best two boys in the entire world. They really miss their daddy, but they have been super amazing kids. Even both of the 10.5 hour car rides were absolutely perfect. They watched movies together, laughed at each other, played shooting ghosts and each other with their fingers forever, it was AWESOME!

Like I said, for the majority of the time we were there, it was really warm. (I had promised Cambridge lots of snow, and he was really excited to try out his new boots, pants, hat, and sleds that he got for Christmas. Who would have thought there would be such little snow in January in Minnesota?) Anyway, he really wants to make a snowman still.... but this was Ryan's best attempt at it. It seemed to work! Cambridge named him Frosty.

As if we hadn't done enough shopping already, I just had to stop by one of my favorite stores there. Turned around to see the boys trying out some new sunglasses!

More pictures from the MOA! If you have never been there, you should come and visit us, we'll take you there!

The boys were awfully concerned about the snow being in our house.

This is what the house looked like when we left. I am told it already has shingles and windows now! I cannot believe how quickly it is coming together, even in winter. (Although I feel really bad for the poor workers out there freezin their tails off.)

Cookie night, Brody style! Seriously? He is actually a super clean eater, always cleaning up little spills and crumbs, and always wiping his hands/face off in between bites (it is kind of annoying). UNTIL it is something he really likes, and then he refuses to take a bite, and just keeps shoving it in until it is gone.

I had to laugh at this one... I was trying to be all efficient one day, and decided to pour Brody's cereal at the same time that I poured Cambridge's, Brody was still asleep at the time, but I thought I could just send him down stairs to eat his cereal once he woke up, and I could continue getting ready. I came down later, to find that Cambridge hat eaten his own cereal and ALL of Brody's marshmallows, sneaky kid.

Can I just say, I thought I ABSOLUTELY LOVED SHOPPING, especially when I can spend lots of money. NO I DON'T. I really DON'T. I have never shopped so much in my life. I dragged my boys around town and to meetings with various companies/builder for like 12 hours a day. They were such little troopers. I just had to post this picture as it really does sum up the bulk of our trip there. BTW, do you like this mirror? I think it is kind of funny looking, but I actually bought it for my half bath. It is super weird, distressed, and oddly shaped, but for some reason I just liked it. I hope it works out okay. I am planning on painting the room a darker/funky purplish/gray color, so I guess we'll see.

The boys were loving these giant Legos that they could "hide" in.

Lego Woody!

This is a little train ride at the MOA. We couldn't resist going there to ride a few rides with the boys, I think it will be their new favorite place! (However, I doubt I will ever be able to go there again and not take them on a ride. Darn. We went to a movie there on Saturday morning, and we didn't have any points left, yikes, holy melt-down, they didn't care about the fun movie idea, they just wanted to ride the rides again. Silly boys.

Brody on the hot air balloon ride!

The weather was so nice for the majority of the time we were there, we even let the boys play on their new park, it is just down the street from our house... the boys LOVED it!

Our boys in Minnesota at our new house! They were so excited to see it! They loved going there and finding little treasures (aka: scraps).
