Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. This was a very different year at the White house. Ryan was gone for a week and a half before Christmas, but came home a little earlier to be with his family. We had lots of fun hanging out with our friends from the ward that were also without family close by. Cambridge is a HUGE fan of Christmas and had been looking forward to it for a very long time. Brody was a major clean freak when he was opening the gifts. He would tear off a little piece and have to take it to the garbage. We missed being with our families this year, but it was nice to have our very own "White Christmas" ;)

Happy B-Day Brody and Happy Halloween!!!

Our little baby is now two years old. He is growing up so quickly it makes me a little sad. We made him a yummy Mickey Mouse cake.

This year Brody was able to be big helper when we carved pumpkins. He insisted on scooping out the pumpkin Ryan or I was working on. He is a cute little man.

When it came time to go out in their costumes the boys were always excited. When we were out trick or treating we were getting lots of compliments from people of all ages. It did feel a little wrong to turn their hair blue, but it made the costume. Now I can finally get their hair cut.

We went to a church party a week before Halloween the boys got to show off their costumes and everyone found out about our upcoming move.

101st Post

Happy fall everyone! Here we are picking out our pumpkins at the farmer's market.

I can't believe I have made that many posts... CRAZY.
Anyway, we just had the best visit from my parents. It was so much fun to have them both here, we had so much fun. Ryan took some time off of work, and we visited Mammoth Caves in Kentucky, they boys went to a Colts Game! We went shopping, and played tons of cards! The boys miss their grandma and grandpa so much.

We also just had to take this little picture of our family in front of our beloved home for the last 4 years. Ryan got a great promotion and will be the new 6 Sigma Black Belt at 3M's purification plant back in the Minnesota!!!!! We are excited for him, but SO SAD to leave our beautiful home here. It is where we brought both of our boys home, their first steps, Christmases, birthdays, and every other Holiday. We have had so many great memories here, and we will be leaving so many great friends behind. Hopefully, we will make lots of new friends back in the twin cities area.

Goodbye Summer

This past Labor Day weekend Ryan planned a super fun road trip for our family. All he told us was that there would be a beach and a chocolate waterfall. I was so confused, but it sounded like an interesting combination. The first stop we went to was the Albanese Candy Factory. We got to watch them making gummy bears, that were the best I have ever tasted. They even have a 32 foot tall chocolate waterfall...and yes it really is chocolate. Here is a video of it.

The next stop was at a place called Indiana Dunes State Park. It is on Lake Michigan and it has the best beach ever. The water was the perfect temperature. I loved that is felt like I was in the ocean, but did not have to deal with salt water. It was really hot that day so we were really happy that we were at a beach. Cambridge had a lot of fun burying Ryan and having his feet buried. Our fun was cut short by a really bad thunderstorm, but we had a good 4 hours on the beach.

Brody was a little reluctant to get dirty in the sand, but he ended up loving it.

It was such a fun trip it is too bad that we have never been up there before. We will back as soon as it warms up again.

It's Family Fun Time

We just got back from the best SLC trip ever! We had so much fun hanging out with family, and having all the cousins together, BOATING!!!!, and seeing mountains again!
We started out our trip with a great Lake Powell vacay, the boys had so much fun boating and playing in the sand/water, and sleeping in the great big bus (aka: my parents motorhome). I had the best ski trip I have ever had, I guess it is all due to my step teacher and working out my arms more, I hate push-ups, but it sure made for some great skiing.

We also took a little trip up to Park City to do some shopping, and ride the Alpine slide! We got to race eachother, and the boys loved it.

Mom: Do you need go potty, Cambridge?
Cambridge: NO
We also took the boys up to Hogle Zoo one of the days, the weather was perfect, and the boys had so much fun. We went to this awesome bird show, and the birds flew right over our head, it was so cool to see!
We also got ALL of the cousins together for a really fun day in the pool! This is my sweet little niece Arielle, I miss her so much, she is just the cutest little thing ever. We also got to visit with Christine and her adorable/smart kiddos, they have grown up so much, I miss seeing them more, they are the best kids, with incredible parents.
We also got to meet my newest nephew, Alexander "the Great", happiest little chunky boy ever. I wish we lived closer so we could have the boys together more often. They all played so well together, and were as cute as ever.
This is the best shot we got of all 11 of the grandkids together, I can't believe how hard it is to get them to all pay attention at the same time. :) (Can you believe we only have 2 girls... so sad.)
Our cute little boys.
I had to post this picture of some of the boys together with their Uncle Brett--who just got engaged! We are so excited for him, and I am so glad we got to meet Kenzie, and be a part of their engagement! SO FUN.
