Introducing Brecken Tate

Our new little boy was born on Feb. 4th at 2:14 pm. He was 8 lb 4 oz (yikes.. our biggest baby) and 20.5 inches (which is exactly what the other 3 were... odd). He is almost a perfect copy of Cambridge. I decided to go au natural for the birth. Brecken's big brothers and sister all love him a lot. Cambridge loves to read to him and Brody and Saren love to take turns holding him.  Saren especially loves to wake him up when he falls asleep.  Grandma White came out and was a HUGE help with the oldest 3--now we are completing our detox from Grandma and all her spoiling. I am not sure if she got worn out from hearing "Grandma do it" from Saren about EVERYTHING.

Brecken is as sweet as they come.  He hates getting his diaper changed, but eats like a champ, and is already sleeping 4-5 hours at night.  We are all enjoying having a baby in the house again.  I could just sit and hold him forever.  He seems like he will be a really happy boy, and is adjusting to his extremely loud siblings.  Yikes--I feel so bad some times.  He is super alert, and loves cuddling and listening to people talk to him.  Please don't let him grow up too fast.

Christmas 2014

You know it is almost Christmas time when the elf shows up at our house. The boys and Saren love waking up and finding the elf, before anything else. This year we stuck around at our house. We decided to visit the Water Park of America on Christmas eve and had a blast, well mostly. Ryan talked Brody into going on a surf simulator and the end result was a little scary. We did make some figgy pudding, which is actually pretty good. Most recipies were a little boozy, but we found a good one that was booze free.

Halloween 2014

This past Halloween we had a Toy Story theme, which worked out really well. The costumes turned out great. It is too bad that Halloweens in Minnesota are so cold, because coats are a requirement. Brrrr. Our neighborhood is an awesome place to trick or treat. The pile of candy we got was HUGE. We'll see how we did next dentist visit :).

Brody the 5 year old

Brody turned 5 this past October, yep I am a little behind on my posts. Zombies seem to be a favorite thing among everyone. He got to go mini-golfing with some friends and had a scary (and gross) zombie cake. He said he wanted a zombie cake with brains and that is what he got. He also got one of his new favorite games, Zombie Dice.
