Happy Merry Christmas!

Here are some recent photos we had taken.

Since I didn't have enough shopping to do this year, I had to find something else to fill my time with, so I recently finished re-organizing most of the closets in my house! I am not much of an organizer, so I was really proud of myself! I even made these cute little labels and tied them on with ribbons--so cute!

Cambridge opening his very first present!

Cambridge in his new little Santa's little helper outfit and Santa slippers!

Ryan and I just couldn't wait any longer, last night we started our Christmas! Mostly because Cambridge is getting way too many presents, thanks grandma's, and I guess we went a little over board too. We tried to remember to keep it really simple, but it is just too much fun. Anyway, we were really glad that we let him start opening presents last night, it took him 30 minutes to open one present. We weren't expecting much of a reaction from him, but we were pleasantly surprised. Ryan got the video camera out, and I held the present up and he got the cutest little smile on his face when I gave it to him. It was so much fun to watch him try to open it up--cause he loves crinkling paper and he even somehow made the toy make noise without even opening it up! Then after 20 minutes of filming him, Ryan realized he hadn't pressed record. OOOOOOOOPPPPPPSSSS. Anyway, we have a film of him opening the 2nd one we gave him, but it isn't as cute as the first one was. Oh well, more to come!

We hope that you all are enjoying the spirit of the season and can find joy in the simple things that this time of year brings! Merry Christmas.

So I haven't taken many pictures this month... what a terrible mother I am. So I decided to take a few pictures of Christmas time at our house! I just love decorating for Christmas!!!

My beautiful new table runner my mom just sent to me!

Our dining rooom table.

Our manger scene--the true meaning of Christmas!

My little carolers!

Our Christmas Tree!
I had to put this picture up because although it may seem stupid, I just passed them one day, and it hit me again... oh my goodness there are three of us now!!!! Weird yet so exciting!

Happy Halloween!

Cambridge was a dinosaur this year for Halloween--what a cutie!!! ROAR

This is Cambridge with his friend Emma, she really liked his costume and kept trying to feel it. Below are the results of her curiosity... it was so funny. Maybe they should have swapped costumes for the night. Silly boy.

This is Cambridge all dressed up and ready to go Trick or Treating! He did great this year, he even held his own little bucket while we strolled around our little neighborhood!

Last Monday we carved our pumpkins for Family Night! We all had a lot of fun, and Cambridge was a good sport and even helped clean his pumpkin out!

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to pick out our pumpkins over the weekend!!! Cambridge really likes his, and he is fascinated by these big orange blobs that make a fun noise when you slap them. We can't wait to carve them with him next week!

Civil War Days

Hartford City (where Ryan works) hosts a Civil War Days around this time each year. So we went to check it out over the weekend. It was cool to get a glimpse of what life was like back then. My favorite thing we went to was a period Fashion Show. It was really interesting to learn so much about all of the women's clothing back then.

Conference Weekend

I took a few cute photos of Cambridge during Conference weekend, he was such a good boy, and we got to listen to all 4 sessions!

Fun in Utah!

This was my mom's Pumpkin Cheesecake that I made her. Happy Birthday Mom!

Some pictures of my parents with Cambridge! Thanks for the fun trip guys!

Cambridge just loved being with his aunt Lindsey, she always made him smile and laugh, thanks ZZ!!

What a hunk!

This is a picture of me with my little brother Brett--GO #29!

Cambridge and Grandma at the football game--he sure had a lot of fun!

Look at #29's cute butt!

Cambridge and Uncle Brett--Cambridge is wearing the cute football outfit that Uncle Brett gave him!

I had the greatest opportunity to go to Utah again... too sweet of a deal to pass up, thanks Mom and Dad! We got to stay for 2 weeks and we had a great time! We even got to go to two of my brother's football games while we were there! Go #29, and Go Bingham! They won both games, and Brett did awesome. Cambridge loved being at the football game, and was smiling and talking the whole time!

We also got to do some really fun shopping, and go out to eat a few times. Unfortunately I have a *NEW* most favorite place to eat, (and I have to crave it all the time and can't do anything about it) Zupa's!

We also got to sing Happy Birthday to my mom while we were there, it was a few days early, but at least we got to be there for the celebration. My mom also saved me a piece of my Dad's birthday cake and lemon pudding since they had barely celebrated his birthday. My mom makes the best Birthday cakes for everyone, but unfortunately, I rarely get to have any. We have a fairly big family, and everyone has their own cake that they like, so every month I start craving that person's birthday cake, and I don't ever get any. I guess I better start making their cakes for US each month. I mean I have had certain cakes every month for the past 20 years, it is just tradition, I can't live without them anymore.
