Look who's 5!

Cannot believe this little guy is my 5 years old already.  H continues to be such an amazing little boy and absolute joy to our family.  Saren completely lights up when he talks to her, which he does often.  He can also make her laugh and smile better than anyone else.  Brody and him are best friends and do everything together.  This winter he has really enjoyed sledding, playing games, his friends, learning to write, & going to a Monster Truck Show!

We had a big TRAIN birthday party for him with most of his friends.  It was a success, we played lots of fun games, and ate some fun train food brought to us in a little train, drank diesel fuel, and ate some "coal"... How the hell did I not get any pictures of all my hard work????  Anyway, it was cute, and we all had fun!  Boy oh Boy though, throwing parties is a lot of work.

In Other News--Our last stop at the zoo, the Starfish/Anemone Tide Pool... standing right behind Brody when all the sudden I see him go head first in to the pool and his feet sticking straight up.  WHAT THE HECK?  Then he proceeds to yell at me while crying after I pulled him out for not holding on to him... just slightly embarassing, and we have now hit a NEW LOW as parents.  (Sorry--no pics, although I thought about it, but then I would be a really bad parent so I just couldn't.)  Do you know how loud that kid is?  I think everyone was staring/laughing at us.  The best part was that he was not scared at all, he was just seriously mad. Funny boy.
